Saab’s air, land and naval systems at DefExpo

Speaking on the importance of Defexpo 2012 for Saab CEO Hakan Bushke says “Saab is growing outside Sweden and India is one of the market areas for Saab. In fact we believe India is a home market for the future, a market that has the potential to be larger than our European markets.”

Finmeccanica brings wide product line to DefExpo

The Italian defense major will be represented at DefExpo by its group companies AgustaWestland, Alenia Aermacchi, DRS Tactical Systems, Inc. (a division of DRS Technologies), SELEX Galileo, Oto Melara and WASS – in DEFEXPO 2012, exhibiting products, platforms and technological solutions in the field of helicopters, aeronautic, radar systems, naval and land armaments and underwater systems.

BAE Systems plays on mobility at DefExpo

The world’s first 155mm Howitzer weighing under 10000lbs (4218kg), the highly mobile M777, on display at DefExpo this year is the subject of ongoing discussions between the Indian and US Governments in relation to a possible sale.

Boeing’s flightline at DefExpo

Raytheon’s offering at Aero India

US defense systems manufacturer Raytheon plans to exhibit a wide range of products and programs in the areas of Intelligence, Surveillance And Reconnaissance (ISR), Command, Control And Communications (C3), integrated air & missile defense, missile systems, radar and homeland security (including coastal/maritime security), at Aero India 2011 in Bangalore next week.

A statement issued by the company says it will exhibit large-scale models, interactive displays, a P-8I mobile console, and an F/A-18E/F Super Hornet simulator with a next-generation cockpit. Other defense capabilities to be highlighted include the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, AH-64D Apache, CH-47F Chinook, Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C), ScanEagle, and weapons systems.
