The Indian Army chief, General Vijay Kumar Singh visited Mongolia in the second week of September on the occasion of Military Naadam, which commemorates the Mongolian Ministry of Defense Centennial. And for the first time, ever, an Indian Army team of stunt motorcyclists displayed their skills outside India. Perhaps, it is fitting this first stunt riding display was held in Mongolia. Unless otherwise mentioned, all photos are courtesy the Indian Army.
- They’re stunt motorcyclists from the Indian Army’s Corps of Military Police.
- This team of stunt bikers is known as Shwet Ashwa (White Horses).
- The team displayed its skills between September 07-09, 2011 in Mongolia.
- The 44-member team is led by Lieutenant Colonel Ranjeev Pradhan, Lieutenant Colonel PS Anand and two Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs).
- President of Mongolia, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, Indian Army chief, General Vijay Kumar Singh, Commander of the US Pacific Command, Admiral Robert Willard and senior Chinese and Russian military officials witnessed the display.

- The display was held on the occassion of ‘Military Naadam,’ which commemorates the Mongolian Ministry of Defense Centennial.
- While stunt riding is unlikely to be new to Mongolia, with its history of conquerors like Genghis Khan and a culture of horsemanship, stunt-biking on Indian Royal Enfield motorcycles was might have been something they hadn’t seen before.
- This is the first time, ever, that an Indian Army stunt motorcycle team has displayed abroad.
- General Singh also had a meeting with President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj.
