The Tri-Services Exercise 2025 (TSE-2025) ‘Trishul’ has concluded the after being held in early November 2025. The Navy served as the lead service for the exercise, which was conducted across multiple operational domains, in coordination with the Indian Army and Indian Air Force.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the Western Naval Command, Southern Command of the Indian Army and South Western Air Command of the Indian Air Force were the principal formations involved. The exercise included large-scale activities across the creek and desert regions of Rajasthan and Gujarat, as well as maritime operations in the North Arabian Sea. Amphibious operations formed a key component of the maritime segment.

The Indian Coast Guard, Border Security Force and other central agencies also participated, contributing to inter-agency coordination. The exercise focused on validating multi-domain integrated operational procedures and enhancing synergy among the three services. Key objectives included improving interoperability, network integration and joint operational planning.

Joint Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) procedures were tested along with Electronic Warfare (EW) and Cyber Warfare plans. Carrier operations by the Indian Navy were conducted with support from shore-based Indian Air Force assets to refine joint standard operating procedures.

The Ministry noted that Exercise Trishul incorporated the use of indigenous systems and aligned with Aatmanirbhar Bharat principles. The activities aimed to refine operational techniques relevant to emerging threats and evolving warfare environments.

According to the release, the completion of TSE-2025 “has underscored the collective resolve of the Indian Armed Forces to operate in a fully integrated manner, thereby enhancing joint operational readiness and national security preparedness.”
