The Indian Army has successfully carried out a combat launch of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile in the Bay of Bengal, validating its accuracy and operational readiness during a coordinated mission.
The Indian Navy has received Taragiri, the fourth Nilgiri-class frigate under Project 17A, built by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilding Ltd. The ship features updated weapons, sensors and propulsion systems and is the fourth vessel delivered in the programme within a year.
