Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) reported a provisional and unaudited revenue of ₹32,250 crore for the financial year ending March 31, 2026, compared to ₹30,981 crore in the previous year. The company said the increase came despite delays in deliveries of LCA Mk1A and HTT-40 aircraft due to supply chain disruptions linked to geopolitical and technical factors.

HAL stated that deliveries of other products, including ALH helicopters and AL31-FP and RD-33 engines, were accelerated during the year, supporting revenue.

“HAL has shown resilience and maintained steady growth despite geopolitical tensions, global conflicts, and supply chain challenges in the aerospace and defence sectors. During the past year, HAL strengthened its order pipeline, expanded its manufacturing capability and diversified into the civil segment to support future growth,” said D K Sunil, Chairman and Managing Director of HAL.

The company’s order book stood at approximately ₹2.54 lakh crore as of March 31, 2026, compared to ₹1.89 lakh crore at the start of the year. The increase includes contracts with the Ministry of Defence for 97 LCA Mk1A aircraft valued at ₹62,370 crore, along with orders for six ALH helicopters and eight Dornier aircraft for the Coast Guard. HAL said its existing manufacturing orders provide revenue visibility for the next seven to eight years.

During the year, HAL operationalised a third LCA Tejas production line and a second HTT-40 line at its Nasik division. The company also signed an agreement with Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) to establish a strategic metal bank for critical raw materials.

HAL expanded into civil aviation, with the Dhruv NG helicopter completing its first flight and the HTT-40 aircraft entering series production. It also signed agreements with United Aircraft Corporation to produce the SJ-100 aircraft, with Pawan Hans Limited for Dhruv NG helicopters, and with Jags Aviation in Guyana for Hindustan-228 aircraft.

The company also signed an agreement with ISRO, IN-SPACe and NewSpace India Limited to support Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) technology transfer.

HAL reported dividend payments totalling ₹3,344 crore during the year. It also undertook digital and infrastructure initiatives, including automation systems and development of a data centre and private cloud.
