India’s Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) tested the B05/K-15 submarine launched ballistic missile in the Bay of Bengal, on Sunday.
The missile was launched from an underwater pontoon off the coast of Visakhapatnam and endured a flight test of its full range, which the defense ministry said, ‘met all the mission objectives’.
“The parameters of the vehicle were monitored by radar all through the trajectory and terminal events took place exactly as envisaged,” said the statement.
