Russia’s Rosoboronexport has begun an export campaign for the new Garpia-A1E loitering munition, offering the system to foreign customers and discussing possible local production. The company says it has a range of up to 1,000 km.
Rosoboronexport will present more than 850 defence products at the Dubai Airshow 2025, including full-scale displays of the Su-57E fighter, IL-76MD-90A(E) transport aircraft, Yak-130M trainer, Ka-52 helicopter, UAVs, loitering munitions and air defence systems.
The training of Indian personnel is underway in Russia, in anticipation of the delivery of the S-400 Triumph air defence missile system that is expected to begin in December without any delays, so far, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Russian Embassy, today, announced in a statement the participation of ’31 Russian organizations, including 6 major companies in the field of military-technical cooperation (SC Russian Technologies, Rosoboronexport, OJSC “Concern PVO “Almaz-Antey”, Central Design Bureau for Marine Engineering “Rubin”, Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Splav”, KBP Instrument Design Bureau), in the DefExpo beginning on Monday in New Delhi.
