KC-390 Completes Arctic Test Campaign

Embraer has completed a cold-weather test campaign of the KC-390 Millennium in Sweden, demonstrating operations in Arctic conditions. The aircraft conducted short takeoffs, rapid loading and vehicle deployment as part of logistics and ACE evaluations.

Northrop Grumman and Embraer are collaborating to develop enhanced air-refueling capabilities for the KC-390 Millennium aircraft. The effort aims to introduce an autonomous boom system and upgraded mission systems to support U.S. Air Force and allied aerial logistics requirements.

Embraer C-390 takes 7th win in South Korea

The Republic of Korea has selected the Brazilian Embraer C-390 for its transport aircraft requirement for an order estimated to be approximately worth USD 540 million. The C-390 was competing against the Lockheed Martin C-130J and the Airbus A400M, in a contest similar to the ongoing airlifter requirement of the Indian Air Force.
